Two bird's-eye views of the village of Plurs, Switzerland (now Piuro, Italy), which was destroyed by a landslide, probably as a result of nearby mining operations, on 4 September 1618.

Summary
The first view shows the village of Plurs before the 1618 landslide, including town walls, buildings, river, fields, and the surrounding mountains. The second view depicts the same scene but with the village flatttened and covered in rocks and snow or soil.
