Biographical/Historical Note A Chicagoland native (La Grange), Amy Osgood Woodbury received her dance training from the Perry-Mansfield School and the University of Utah. She came to Chicago to dance with Shirley Mordine, and did so from 1975 to 1977, when she left to start her own company, Osgood Dances, Inc. working closely with MoMing Dance & Arts Center and also with Links Hall. After disbanding the company in 1987, Osgood turned to visual arts. She exhibits her paintings under the name Amy O. Woodbury. (2024)
