Biographical/HIstorical Note Mitzi Hamilton began her Broadway career as an understudy for the Fastrada role in the musical Pippin. However, her most notable role is Valerie Clark in A Chorus Line, a role Hamilton famously inspired; she continues to stage the musical at theaters throughout the world. Hamilton appeared in eight Broadway shows, including Bob Fosse's Pippin, Cabaret, Applause and Jerome Robbins’ On the Town. (2024)
