Dear Jack -
Suzanne and I were very saddened by the news of Gladys' death. The Chamiers called us - we are still "en voyage" on a month-long odyssey of Eastern archives.
We are thinking about you and hoping all is as well as can be.
Betty C. said the sermon was lovely and appropriate, and she was very moved by the tribute the minister paid to you and Gladys.
You took extraordinary care of Gladys during these past few years. You gave her the absolute best, your loyal and selfless devotion.
We hope to pass through Moberly again on the 31st and will pay a call on -over-
