Dear Jack,

I'd be delighted to become the sage of Lincoln. But as my father said of William Maxwell

when I asked him why Maxwell has not been honored as a writer in his hometown: (quote)
"He's been gone a long time." (unquote) I also was gone a long time and I'm afraid no-one
knows, or cares, that I'm back.

Another reason I can't become a sage, probably, is that I'm not smart enough. I not only was

not aware that a controversy existed over the position of the you-know-what of the Oriental
female, but now that you've ^ brought it to my attention I can only say that I'll be darned if I
understand the question underline or /underline the controversy.

However, to compensate, I'll give you all the information I have on the anatomy of the Korean

female
