Dear sir,
Your kind favor of the 15 [inst?] is at hand.
The price of the property you are considering, is high, at over $250, per front ft, still The rental value of the same, is $920. a year too much, but if local reasons advise the purchase of it, you likely can not do much better.
I believe I answered your former letter, but don't know now, just what I wrote you. But paying no regard to what I then said, I feel a renewed mistrust in your present
enterprise. If yourself and trustees are sure there will be no failure in carrying it through, I am ready to send my check for $500, towards payment of first $2000, and also will pay you $1000 more when required, at the end of the year. Provided the balance, of the purchase money,
