User-Contributed Transcription 3 And I want to thank you all over again for the fine record. It is one that I want very much because of the violinist who is one of the greatest living. Mrs. Howe who is coming again to see me soon had a present lately of the record and wrote she wd bring it along to play for me. Now I can send word not to. I found it listed in yesterday's Tribune as one of the most desirable for anyone starting a collection. So, joy, oh joy! Rogers made light of my complaint abt the player not being level, so we will see when he returns it. Phyllis is about a year younger than you, isn't she? and there was 4 years difference between them -- Hope you are not over-working with the thesis added to your usual schedule! Mighty good of you to do it for the young lady. If I had Laura's Portland address, I'd send a postal in acknowledgement, but I've neglected putting it in my address book. In same mail as yours this a.m. came a reply to a letter of inquiry I sent to the MacFadden, Flint, Mich. cousins after the terrible storm, and they are all o.k. Only the roof of the dog-house blown off. They were away at the time
