User-Contributed Transcription 2 The mother-in law is pleasant also but I've seen less of her Mrs. R. must have had a big party as there were 4 cars out in front.  When I came from mailing my last to you I was startled to see a white kitten jump from Bookie's side and run under the house. I'm trying now to coax it to come up on the steps to feed. It has long-ish fur such as Laddie had.  Mrs Catlin called me up yesterday. She said it was her first phone call. She was so sorry to have missed you and promised to see me very soon. She came a week ago. I forwarded to Maxine a letter that came two days ago from Mich. Probably her girl friend.  I'm very happy over the home she and Malcolm have found, and do hope all goes well for both. I had sent her the photo such as I sent you just before yours came. Hope the new coat is heavy enough for your cold weather.  Suppose you are dining at Marvin's today.  Cora and Mr. Hobbins came in after church and were on their way to his trailer where a group of his people from words scratched out Ohio were to gather today for dinner and supper and bring the supplies - He was not feeling well, having asthma. Cora had a cold also - Her cousin Clarence has come and
