User-Contributed Transcription 3/ Mrs. May Walden 420 West Bell street Avon Park, Fla. trunk was so heavy, he had all sorts of tings with metal in it. Watch cases, watch bands, some pliers he bought here (Using money that should have gone to me) a lathe, worth a good deal, box of solid walnut full of tools. The box is a relic of the old Metamora Inn used by T.B. Spiers, proprietor, for his cash, bills, etc. and given to Frank by Tom Spiers, only and worthless son of T.B. I've grieved over the two burnt wood boxes. You recollect he wrote a letter, disposing of his property? I sent it to you to preserve. We - or you - may need it some day to establish ownership. He had a lot of stuff that are relics that he said over and over that he had no use for and wondered what to do with them, then some days his mood would change and he'd hold on everything with a grip of iron - I have fully made up my mind that he is not altogether there, and Old Age added, makes a very peculiar set-up. You see, he was at Mrs. G's only 3 days. postman -
