May 2.'55 Darling Tafern, Yours here this a.m. Thanks for the V As I expected, I'll have to furnish Frank some for transportation. He gets only $43 - and all I've had from him is $20. he gave me last Month to pay electricity bill - $12.68 this month. He burns a 75 watt lamp sometimes until 2 a.m. He was already to start until he figured up his train fare, $52.35 without sleeper. And he had only $52.35. When he goes, he leaves here at 4:05 p.m. and reaches Peoria second day at 1:10 p m. After corresponding with him and argueing he has finally consented to go to the place in El Paso where there is only one man now. He thinks that if he can only get "up North" his friends will take care of him. They are angels if they do. on side Will have Gauntt pick some fruit
