User-Contributed Transcription 3/ Mrs. May Walden 420 West Bell street Avon Park, Fla. only place where they ought to be. But I insisted and pulled out his blankets and then his two bath-robes. He was boiling all the while, and said he didn't know what he was going to do with them, that he never went any place where such things were used, etc. etc. I told him he had worn one when he first came, and it was cool enough for him to wear them any time. He said angrily, "Well maybe you call them bath robes, but what I want is a wash rag!" Well I laughed and laughed and showed him the pile of wash-cloths in the linen closet. Well, how'd he know there was any there! he didn't go snooping around trying to find out things, etc. etc. - After he got settled on the porch, I went to his room to hunt for wash rags. I could find only one, on the floor of the closet, among towels, shirts, etc. Another I found in the pile in the linen closet. He was delighted with it. So when last evening I suggested it was time for a bath - he hadn't taken one since the Sat night the week before, to my knowledge, so he indulged last eve'g "whether he needed it or not."
