Had good nap and hot bath then went to call upon Mrs. Reynolds but she wasn't at home. The Renfro girls came one at a time to Telephone and to pay a telephone bill to Sebring. Saw Mrs. Wells down town and she exclaimed "Didn't she look pretty when she was going away"? Mom." She always looks pretty". Mrs. W. "And her pretty little hat! she look so sweet!" "I'll bet you miss her!" Mom. (quietly) "Yes, I miss her" and passed on. Then I met Mrs. DeWitt. Don't think you have met her. She is large from having carried nine of ten children, four of whom were in W.WII and the youngest two are now in service, one in Germany, the other at some training place in Texas. He likes it fine. Says it's awful hard but he likes it and finds the Texas boys dumb with a big D. and no good. Says there is another feller
