User-Contributed Transcription 3 Mrs. May Walden 420 West Bell Street, Box 853 Avon Park, Fla. the missing. I hope he is safe and will soon be freed. I'm enclosing another check for $55.00. The Bobulas were transferred back to the place they came from and I had to refund half of their 2nd months rent. Captain Devereaux and his bride of a year came in the evening of the day the B.'s left, so I enclose his check. He is a young fellow - 26 - a Chicago boy, and his wife is a Southern girl. Born in Ga. and educated in a Ga. college, then worked in the Quartermaster's division of the army as supervisor of supplies. I like them back very much. They are quiet, read a lot, and he has talent as an artist. His father has had charge of the decorations of the La Salle hotel for years, and John worked with his father. John was born in Ireland and lived there with his grandmother until he was nine or ten. His mother is a painter and has exhibited at the Royal Academy
