User-Contributed Transcription Mrs. May Walden 420 West Bell Street, Box 853 Avon Park, Fla. After breakfast. Work done up. Cats fed. Foster has been up and paid the $5.00 which takes him to Aug. 31st. He said he didn't get his pay until 10:30 last night. He has the contract signed to care for the electric lights on the Mall, which will be a help. He is working on a commission basis for the Badcock Furniture Co. and does all their installations, repairs, etc. But he isn't satisfied wants a straight salary, but won't know until Sept. 15. I suppose he will move them if he gets the salary as they are crowded in the little cottage. The place is in awful shape. Steps all broken down, garbage scattered everywhere, holes all over that his dog digs, the garage filled with tools and refrigerator parts and one refrig out on the driveway propped over to let the rains run out of it. Holes in the Yes, I'm carefree. Mrs. Godwin cautions me all the time. But I am cautious always. So don't worry!
