User-Contributed Transcription McDonald, mother of the sick teacher, appeared upon the scene and to my utter dismay and confusion took all the books and material belonging to "Miss Katie". Of course they were hers and she had a right to them, but I didn't know that everything in that desk belonged to her and not to the school! I find that the school has no equipment except a copy of the Florida school laws, and a numeral frame, and I'm not sure that doesn't belong to Miss Katie and was forgotten! Well, I have started in to make some supplies. Mother made me 4 bean bags yesterday, I've cut some card Grandmother has gone to lie down, something unusual for her as it isn't 9 a.m. She has a billeous spell - She will stuff the most outrageous things into her stomach - Nothing serious. Loads of love, Mother.
