User-Contributed Transcription 2 I am thinking seriously of publishing a series of sketches upon my return called "Mother in the Looking Glass".  I went down town this morning and bought two summer union suits. They were wrapped in paper like this. (sample enclosed) in a big round bundle. I felt ashamed to be seen on the street with it, so I came back as soon as possible.  But the union suits are all right. I put one on right away.  There is a large cherry tree opposite my north window which is just ready to burst into blossom.  I can hardly wait until I get to Jacksonville to hear from you. I hope you got some rent money from Mrs. Monaghan. I have not yet paid Randall, as I thought I needed the money worse than he does just now.  I busied myself fixing the front of one of my combinations yesterday afternoon.  I am now at the station ready to depart for Jacksonville. The old lady I staid with is very pleasant - kissed me good bye and asked me to look up one of her daughters - a demonstrator in hair goods at Hillman's - when I get back.
