User-Contributed Transcription P E. wants me to get word scratched out me a silk dress but it wears so poor. I hate to spend the money for one but the Poorest trash here all wear silk, but I had rather wear something else wish you had been in chicago would have had you got me a pare of shoes. as I was obliged to have a pare. charles went to the home & found billy Mitchel & had a long talk with him when he? left him invited him to come out & spend the day & have Dinner with us so he came out wednesday. fornoon & had Dinner & E. & I had to entertain him til about 4 P.M. he knows me but I didn't no him sayed wouldent no me if had met me on the street but expecting to see me here he naturely would no me I suspected
