Dear Jack,

Am slow in writing to you, with good reason. By using a method of law, was able to force Dave’s will to be probated, by now you surely know that John Carmody was his lawyer. They threw the book at me, among other things I am charged with endorsing and cashing Dave’s checks for a period of 5 years. They lie and it can be proven, but takes time of course.

I have me a lawyer now, and before this thing is over, I intend to show (over)
