User-Contributed Transcription about $3 or $4 for it. So you see my conscience
has been bothering me because I know you
would want this information immediately. Ralph
told me you had paid some pretty high prices for
some copies and I know from the effort Lu
spent checking book stores in various cities &
advertizing, that it is nearly impossible to
find any copies of the books anymore. I
did have a card with the listings of price
and condition of the books but have mislaid
it- in fact, i do not now have the
street number but the store is a large one and
a very old established place in Buffalo- the
name of the place alone (Ulbrichts Book Store) would
be enough. I will check with Lu and postscript
a more definate address.
Lu completed her Phd prelims this
spring and is now finishing up her minor
requirements and preparing to write the thesis.
She wants to write on modern American drama.
I have been exerting every effort to keep
her as close as possible to our "People's Drama"
- even took on a special assignment in
writing up a paper on Federal Theatre and
thus held the greater part of her interest. But she
