Summary
Deposition, Feb. 2, 1666, of Samuel Davis of Groton, Mass., taken and signed by Simon Willard, who was often employed by the Massachusetts General Court in matters concerning Indians, regarding the sale of liquor to the Indians by Richard Blood, a Groton resident and officeholder. Davis reports that he went with John Page to Blood's house and watched an Indian obtain liquor from him in a marked bottle. The case was probably heard in the Middlesex County Court.
