For voice and piano.; Includes also parts for guitar and flute.; The composer has not been identified. The words have been attributed variously to Philip Freneau, Ann Home Hunter, and Royal Tyler. It is included (with title Alknomock) in Tyler’s play The contrast and in a modified form in Ann Hatton’s opera Tammany.
