User-Contributed Transcription Hello Jack;
How in the hell are you?  Just got back to New York from Washing to find action all over the place.
One thing that reeks of action is that they have sold "The Great White Hope" to Broadway.  Not only ahs Broadway grabbed it, the movies have advanced a million and a half for the right.
Hey Jack, your new book is selling like hell here.  I have'nt got my copy yet, but I am sure as hell going to pick on up.  Bob Neely, remember him? ; he was one of your students, too, works in a book store, I plan to get a copy from him.  When I do I'll send it to you for an autograph.  How about Jack?
Well it looks as if we'll hit Broadway this Winter, in spite of my continued associations with Tito Shaw and a host of other Chicagoans here.  In fact Tito is still Tito.  They gave him a job beating a drum in an Off Broadway show and he's just about takened over the complete show.  He's playing about six roles, all alike, and is also the stage manager.  The only draw back is - the show closes next week.
Giggy, is, just like you said:  a great guy.  I stayed right in front of his place in Washington.  We'd walk to the theater together every night.  The guy is made of real basic stuff.  Too much!  I think I'll be with him again this September on Broadway.
I saw that student of yours; the guy with the stammer; the one that wrote the play.  I thought I'd give him a few addresses of people
