Dear Slim:
As soon as I read your letter I went to the used book store and tried to get Decline of the West for you but they didn't have any more copies. I bought one there last week for my reference library. Spengler is a son-of-a-gun to read if you don't have a good history background. Even what I have studied about history I can't remember. But that guy really had a lot to say that makes sense. If he could have written it in  today's manner I could have gotten much more out of it. Again I hope it will be written better. The book is not in paper back.
The Wall Street Jungle by Richard Ney is in paperback, published by Grove Press for $1.50. Mr. Ney is publishing another book. It may be out by now. Also about the stock market. I don't know the title.
Your letter was real good. It gave me a lift. I'm happy about you feeling so well. Your the only one I've heard of that does. I hope it lasts and lasts.
The Chicago TV stations don't reach here so we don't get to see interesting programs like Slim Brundage. All I do is hear about it and eat my heart out that I miss it. But let me know when your on anyway.
I'm worried about Doc. He needs his drink more than you do and that can cause both of you trouble. Tell
