Description Drawing No. 29. Portrait of the head chief of the Ojibwa tribe in an elaborate skin dress, decorated with embroidered quillwork, a tribal scene and an abundance of scalp locks. His hair is in two beaded braids, and adorned with many feathers and deer hair. He wears a large necklace and many earrings.
