User-Contributed Transcription Jack II     What's the drift about underlined: The Trumpet?  Folded up and tooken my story with them, or awaiting publication and new address?  Can't let us writing folks down like that, bad for the great American novel.     I have a batch of my published stuff typed up on account Coleman Rosenbeger thought I should do so and submit to a publisher.  Can you give me a steer - where should I send it -to an agent like Lieber (his address?) or to a publisher?  I also thought of applying for a Saxton (Harper) Fellowship, since they claim to help unpublished and unknown authors.  What do you think?  I have about eight (8) mss. typed - from underlined:  The Anvil, Virginia Spectator,  Wash. D.C. underlined: Post and underlined: Hinterland.   What ever became of Ellington (The Critic) Custis?  Last time I saw him was in hills of Va. when we got berled on cawn juice.  Is he daid?   Drop me brief and quick line or two - You know Rayford's address?  Jack III
