User-Contributed Transcription Ithaca July 29th 62 My Dear Uncle, At Mothers request (I sent you a box by the American Express) in the spring for Aunt Sarah. I would have Expressed it through to Remsen if they should have done so but the express agent here would not take pay farther than Utica, and I supposed you being so well acquainted there you should easily get it. I wrote you at the time I sent you the Box, but have never heard whether you recieved it or not. Will you please write as Mother should like to know. She is now with us With kind love to all and hoping this
