User-Contributed Transcription Holywell Dec 26 . 1838 - My Dear Brother -Being on a tour through Denbighshire to  Flintshire in behalf of the Dysgrdyd.  was in Greenfield yesterday all day. a meeting was held there, and this morning Mr. Simmons coll? at my cousin saying that he is starting for Stuben. next week and I thought that I would just write a line or two. I am off directly after my publication. I came through New market monday evening to Mostyn. I only stopt there a few minutes, I did not light. they were all well there but brother & sister. I found very low they had buried there Father just returned from the grave. (John Jones Nailer?) Sister Ann was there she is quite well. and family & I am glad to say also that my family at Home  -was quite well on Monday morning. except little Samuel. he is very weak this 5 or 6 months. Edw. is out of his pram? now at Xtmas. Thomas is very comfortable. has the management of a shop at Llanvinst?, London House - he has been received to communion
