I have been busy here enjoying my own company most of the time to day did not go to meeting to day, have written a letter to Ann & to your Father & you will get your share when you get this  It snowed till about noon & by that time there was no snow to be seen but it is hardly cleared off yet but I think it will by morning it has rained but little this after noon Samuel came over this after noon & wrote a letter to his father and has gone back again t our boarding place at the station.  I have been thinking about the time that it is best for me to fix for coming home but I cannot yet Determine about it. It seems as though there might be somebody found that could just do what little must be done in the way of securing the fences & take care of the thing and perhaps put some seed into the ground if I should come home early in the spring I could not accomplish any great things without hiring help & besides the actual proffit of farming in that cold country is of no very great account [[?]] how: And again it is now 20 days since I have heard from you although I received your letter last night (from the 27 of March to the 16th of April) and perhaps by this time it has become warmer weather the sow most gone & your old man came back [[?]] that you want want me [[?]]
Tell Charlie & Josie that where I am the trees are green & full of blossom & it has been warm weather for a good many days but I suppose that by the time this reaches [[?]] you will have warm weather but I gues not many blossoms I hope they are good boys and learn to read well
