Dear Jack — I never acknowledged your wonderful loving October letter. And the inclosures: I know Hagedorn's "Doors" — it says what we all feel in a way; also that sharp jewel of a door-shutting letter by Nelson. Hope you're trying that "home place" idea — you could sure do it! Some day I'm going to look up your juveniles — they sound sweet & breezy — for children in the family. Yes. i had Henrietta Weigel to a Christmas cocktail party, but with 30 some people. I had little chance to converse. Three translations of ours (from Italian) to come out in Poetry soon. Best to you & Gladys.
