Thanks so much for your article which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was so lively and evocative that I've decided to go through some of the other items on your impressive checklist.
I notice you have written two articles on Dreiser. I'm doing a biographical-critical study of him, but I'd love to see your remarks. If you have copies, I'd appreciate your lending them to me. If not, I'll try the often-disappointing N.Y. Public Library.
