travel pass over the whole division and
half rates in the N & W. I was a [?]
reefer's assistant. Here I am head of
the Modern Languages Department but
I can not withdraw a new book for
two hours reading until an old maid
has cooled by heels for five days.
It reminds me of something a little
like much that is in Botkin. In
Southern Ohio where I used to be a high-school
principal I knew an old fellow
who was half Indian and had a
boy- the [?]bornest kid in the U.S. everyone
said. The old man told me
once: Oscar is so damn headstrong
that if his head "eetches" he scratches
