thumb-nail sketches, that I have done

task. It is difficult because of space,
but by no means uninteresting. I shall

beyond the point of reliability. It will be
wise to give me as much notice as
possible so that when the right moment
comes along I can have at them and be
doing them from time to time. Quite
accidentally [?] you just gave me are
all familiar to me; I have read somewhat
widely in their stuff. Even so I
like to get hold of some of the works
before attacking the job because generalizations
in any field are dangerous.
