Description Police officers removing a victim on a stretcher from the overturned Eastland with rescuers standing on the ship's hull. The tugboat Graeme Stewart and smaller boats circle the Eastland's hull. The steamship Petoskey and spectators watching the disaster from windows and roofs of buildings on South Water Street are in the background. Photograph taken a few hours after the Eastland capsized.
