Summary New Hampshire government document dated Aug. 23, 1703 and signed by Lieutenant Governor William Partridge. In this document two orders are issued regarding Indian relations and public worship.  The first order states that sixty men are to be detached from the province for the purpose of "Destroying and Suppressing the French and Indian Enemys that may be found between Newichawanock and Merrimack River."  The second order declares that Sept. 5 will be established as a day of humiliation throughout the province and that a proclamation to that effect be posted at public meetings. 
Biographical/Historical Note William Partridge was lieutenant governor and governor of New Hampshire, 1697-1698 and 1701-1702.
