Summary Compilation of fifteen sermons in Tagalog by Franciscan Father Diego de la Asumpción, dated 1680 in Manila. Lenten sermons include six sermons which focus on the theme of penitence, as well as two sermons for Quadragesima Sunday, the first Sunday in Lent. Four sermons celebrate feasts of the Virgin Mary, including the Purification, the Anunciation, the birth of the Virgin, and the Assumption. Also included are sermons for Resurrection Sunday and Pentecost.
