Biographical/Historical Note
Nan Giordano was appointed as the Artistic Director of Giordano Dance Chicago in 1993, and was trained by her father, Gus Giordano.
Nan is also a prolific educator; she teaches master classes in the United States and abroad and established the Jazz Dance/Science & Health, Giordano Dance Chicagoʼs outreach program in three under-resourced Chicago Public Schools. She currently serves on the International Ballet Competition Board, National Honorary Committee Board, and the Advisory Board for Dance Magazine.
