Dear Mr. Conroy:

Thank you sincerely for your letter. I have sent away (to Larry Goldberg) for copies of two of your works. I look forward with anticipation to reading them.
Thank you for the autographed copy of "Home to Moberly". It is a fascinating recollection of events and people of the past.
I am sure we can make arrangements after the 1st of the year. I appreciate your kind offer very much. (If you were to make a speech what is your fee?)
