User-Contributed Transcription KRUEGER MFG. COMPANY 117 N. FIFTH AVENUE CHICAGO ILL. July 19-15 Dear May:- Enclosed herewith find check for July rent. Katharine has been very busy of late canning cherries. She has 21 gts put up and a very fine job it is. She is developing into one first class house-keeper. I know that she is much happier in Glen Ellyn than she was in Chicago. Dr. Jeh is not yet living with us. I have extended to him a hearty welcome and just them owing I asked him if he was coming out. He says, that it will be impossible for him to live with us until he disposes of his place in Chicago! Here I am trying to write something interesting and am succeeding about as well as a June Bug would. Its so hot that all I can think of is Cold Lake Michigan an a swimming suit Hotter than Cold! Well goodbye dear, love Max  (Over) Give my love to Grandma Thorpe she is feeling ill.
