User-Contributed Transcription 10-10-34 Sunday Dearest Mother: Unusually busy at the office last week checking taxes so did not get your letters answered, I made a quite thorough search for the picture you wanted but failed to find it. I found the Lowell letter and other items you mentioned but the only photograph among those papers was the enclosed. He is homely enough, God knows, but the name is different. I will continue my search and forward the picture of Fred Warren promptly if and when found. I have not been feeling especially chipper the past week [written in left margin] Shall be glad of the shoes if you cannot sell them to someone there.
