User-Contributed Transcription to party, making a dozen in all. Want Laura and Norine to come too if they can. They are both so fond of children and would like to help entertain. Made Malcolm nice pair of trousers out of my black and white checked skirt and have enough goods for another pair, or perhaps a light weight coat for spring. Furnace doing very well this winter. Fire keeps nicely over night. Burn Illinois Lump, $10 00 per ton. Get a peck of dirt out of v.c. every time, I empty dust bag. Don't know where it all comes from, but quite a satisfaction to burn it. Another new house going up in the meadow, just back of Morse's and little to east. Love, Katharine
