User-Contributed Transcription entirely contented. Met her husband some days ago when he came out to meet her here, and he says she is discontented everywhere.  Nellie Zay is going south for the winter. Expects to locate with her mother's sister in Lakeland.  Papa left for Alabama on the 15th. Am having Ed and his wife here for dinner tomorrow evening. Afterwards going to the O.F. dance at the Turner Hall, if the Powers are willing. It will be my first dance in about a year.  Malcolm started kindergarten at Mrs. Wagoner's (the postmaster's mother and sister) the 1st of the month. Did I tell you? Is learning lots of nice things. Makes mats by weaving paper, does paper cutting to make designs, has learned a number of rhymes, songs, etc. $5 00 per month.  The XV I was to enclose has dwindled to X as Max is taking out a little life insurance and has to pay the premium this week. Will send another X next week. Have a million things to do all the time. Hope will get caught up sometime. Do you remember my verse "In Florida"? Have given it to our esteemed Glen Ellyn and will probably appear this week. They printed a perfectly dreadful poem last week so I decided they could use mine.   Much love  Katharine. on sides: Am forwarding a seed catalog mailed to G.M. here. Meant to get it off before. Potted the plants yesterday. Have 3 geranium and amaryllis with amaryllis bulbs in another pot.
