User-Contributed Transcription of the roll, but with indifferent success. Believe the poem will be intact, however. Have bought a barrel of apples for $7.00 and 2 bu. bag of potatoes for $3.15. Malcolm said something funny at supper the other evening. "My nose smells my cake. It makes me vicious."( Much gnashing of teeth.) Got my scenario into the contest all right. Wish I could win the $10,000, or even $500, would not be sneezed at. Must stop and wash diders, dishes, sweep, make beds, clean bathroom, mend, get lunch, etc. Much love, Katharine V or X later.
