User-Contributed Transcription Glen Ellyn, ILL. Jan. 11, 1921. Dear Mum & Grandmum: Happy birthday to Grandmum. Am enclosing the present as it is likely not to arrive on time if sent in package form. It is not exactly what I wanted to get as had in mind something embroidered on heavy linen white instead of ecru, but after looking at a number of places decided on this. They say this is not a good time of year to get collars as the stock is run down. My remittance will go forward Thursday minus $1 00 for your share of the present
