User-Contributed Transcription Glen Ellyn, ILL. [October, 1920] Monday Morning Dear Mum & Grandmum: Your two letters arrived in the same mail with one from Miss Ross explaining the mystery. It seems she mailed the ticket at the N.W. depot the same morning that she went in from here and does not understand why I failed to receive it. I suppose it got lost somehow. Was very glad to have your ticket and enclose ten dollars in payment. Max thinks we can manage to send $5 00 weekly as a sort of rent money - of course not what the place is worth, but it will be better than nothing
