User-Contributed Transcription owns, over on Winthrop Ave. I was expecting to go down town today. I had written Margaret Schoenfeld to see if she couldn't meet me downtown, but a letter from her this morning said that she couldn't come today but would meet me a week from Wednesday.  I have planned to go down Monday and will get Grandma's ribbon. If I don't get the right kind, send it back & I will exchange it - no trouble at all. Will get my camera Monday sure Have been planning to do so for some time but something usually turned up to prevent. Have almost learned how to float. The French dictionaries of which you speak are not among the books that are unpacked. They must be somewhere among the ones in the basement. If we were not going to move so soon I would unpack them and find them but I think it would be better to wait until we get out to Glen Ellyn. Then I will send them to you as soon as they are unearthed. Cold is in Chicago but is rather hard to find. He promised to pay up this week but has not so far. Max goes to his office frequently and will probably get him to cough up in the near future. Glad you liked the spoon, Grandma. Wanted to have it engraved but was in a hurry to send it, and engraving takes several days, that is, several continued on side: days elapse before you can get the article to be engraved. Sorry the movie business is on the bum. No sign of the 10,000 yet  Lots of love,   Katharine
