User-Contributed Transcription it couldn't be tuned until that is replaced. We heard through Mrs. Baker that Mrs. Cool is quite well again and attends lectures, plays, etc. as she used to. She was one of a party including the Bakers who went to hear the English girls sing folk-songs at the Little Theatre. They are the same ones that we saw. I guess they make it a point to come to Chicago every year.
I am enclosing sample of the nainsook that I am using for my baby's slips. I have one that I made after a pattern that Mrs. Baker gave me. It is very simple and easy to make. All in one piece with kimono sleeves and a round neck. It is finished all except the beading around the neck and sleeves, through which I shall run baby ribbon. It will have no buttons. It is quite short, 21 inches, so I suppose
