Had a fine swim yesterday at the Field House. swam the length of the tank, ending in the deep water. One of the girls walked along beside me on the platform, holding a long pole out over the water for me to grab hold of if I got tired, but I didn't need it. About a week ago I met a young girl by the name of Gladys Shroeder in the gym class. She is about my age and we took to one another immediately. I met her yesterday and we went in swimming together and we are planning to go in again next Wed. morning and have gym in the afternoon. Between periods we will play tennis if the weather permits and eat our lunch in the park. I'm so glad to have found a girl at last, to play tennis with
