Description Drawing No. 17. Portrait of standing Atsina (sometimes called Gros Ventres of the Prairies) man, wrapped in skins and wearing quiver and earrings. He has fur-trimmed leggings, and holds a wrapped rifle. Knotted hair signifies his status as a medicine man. Same image as VAULT Ayer Art Bodmer, Drawing No. 16.
