Prayermeeting & Teachers' in evening - 9 present at latter. Letter to John. Mending & Packing - Cora went home in P.M.
Thurs. 24 Thanksgiving Day - No meal eaten in this house today - Geo. took a big load of furniture up to new house in A.M. & Ely & Harry went up with him to unload it. Ike, Keyes, Nelson & I went to church - Bap't at 10 - Short addressed by Mr Tovell, Cadmus, Endley - a good Anthem by the Choir - Home to make beds, clean camps +c. Then Harry, Ely, Keyes, Nelson & I marched up to Geo. Rich's. Ike having gone on before. We ate a big Thanksgiving Dinner - Turkey, Potato, Squash, Stuffing, Cabbage Salad - Cranberry Sauce - Pickles - Coffee - Mince Pie, Squash Pie - all first class. In afternoon went over to new house & settled furniture in rooms upstairs, so far as possible - packed sheets, towls +c. into the linen closet. Then back to Geo's for a little sing - and home about 5:45 - Only Popcord for supper - some buttered - some with new milk -
