Ethel arrived at 7:45 P.M. Mr. Farmer Hall going right on to Chicago - Annie, Nette, Mayo & Ely went to train to meet her.

Three aunts called here this P.M. I spent the A.M. mostly on the bed.

Thurs. 12. Annie and I went downtown this morning early, back by 10, after many errands. Annie bought a white cape, and I a bolt of cotton cloth for night shirts & c. and a many dishes - Ethel has been busy all day getting ready to pack.
Rain - rain & hail - Ely not feeling well - Nette, Harry, Mayo and Cora all went to prayer meeting - Nette, Harry & I to Teachers' Meeting thereafter.
